We have a permanent DEI Committee, composed of a multicultural group of volunteer collaborators with the passion and purpose of identifying ways in which we can advance Equity and Inclusion globally and devising actionable tasks to do so to ensure that we create an inclusive environment and lead to a culture that leverages diversity to its fullest potential so that every person can have a sense of belonging.

We developed this permanent program to guide and support our female talent in developing leadership skills, overcoming challenges in advancing their professional careers, and enhancing their self-confidence and empowerment.

We launched an inclusive community of collaborators with the mission to promote the development of female talent within the company, create awareness, facilitate discussions, and promote solutions around issues women face in the workplace. This network fosters women's inclusion and supports their development and growth goals.

At Metalsa, we are committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. We conduct operations by applicable laws, regulations, and other requirements from our stakeholders, constantly striving to eliminate hazards and reduce risk in the workplace. Safety is an essential part of our operating system. We believe that each collaborator and visitor is responsible for safety and health as a fundamental priority, not only for themselves but for all of us who are part of the organization and in the locations where we operate. We prevent any injury or health deterioration by providing adequate training and equipment to maintain safety in our operations.

It is of the utmost importance that all those who collaborate with us are prepared to respond adequately to emergencies, receiving training and protective equipment to face fires, spills, handling of chemicals, and accidents.

In addition to the fire protection and safety equipment for our collaborators, we also put efforts into workplace ergonomics, being aware that working safely and comfortably is essential for preventing accidents. We make our operations more efficient, ensuring everyone's safety and increasing productivity and performance.

We must achieve a proactive safety culture through our participation. Therefore, our health and safety objectives, and Safety Management System, are established, reviewed, and adjusted periodically to promote continuous improvement, with a target of a 10% reduction in our TRIR projected for 2031 based on the 2020 performance.

We pledge to set, reassess, and adapt our goals regularly, fostering an environmental stewardship culture. We aim for a 20% target reduction in GHG emissions (Scope 1 & 2) intensity by 2031, building upon our 2019 achievements.

Metalsa, as a global company, with a sustainability vision that promotes supply chain engagement and social welfare, aims to support those stakeholders that must comply with the Conflict Minerals reporting obligation set out by the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission).

To support this policy, at Metalsa, we are committed to:

•Make a reasonable effort to identify the adverse impacts which may be associated with extracting, trading, handling, and exporting minerals dorm conflict-affected and high-risk areas.

•Adopt relevant policies, due diligence frameworks, and management systems to support the reporting and disclosure requirements related to Conflict Minerals.

•Provide resources to comply with our reporting obligations.

•Disclose to our stakeholders, relevant information regarding Conflict Minerals in our products.

•Cooperate with Conflict Minerals due diligence processes across the supply chain.

•Require our suppliers to comply with reporting and disclosure requirements related to Conflict Minerals.

•Implement and communicate to our collaborators and suppliers this Conflict Minerals Policy.
